Sap testing
A sap test is like a blood test for a plant. It identifies any nutrient deficiencies and toxicities occurring in the plant at the time of testing.
Maintaining the plant’s correct nutrient profile ensures it can express it’s full genetic potential while deficiencies or excess nutrients negatively influence:
Plant health
Yield
Quality
Pest and disease resistance
Biomass production
*48 hour turn around time
Sap Testing takes the guess work out of plant nutrition and is a quick way to get data driven insights into the health of your crop. Early identification of nutrient deficiencies allows you to make precision adjustments strengthening your crop against pests and disease.
For longer term plant health, we recommend pairing Sap Analysis with Tissue Testing.
why sap test?
Our sap tests are sent to Eurofins APAL in Adelaide where the data is processed through the Omnia OmniSap algorithm which contains decades of data to compare against.
This allows us to see what the plant has experienced over the last few weeks from a nutrient perspective and outline everything in an easy to read report.
We then work with you to make any required adjustments to optimise the health and yield of the plant such as the application of organically chelated nutrients with added bio-stimulants through foliar application for enhanced plant uptake and overall health.
Product recommendations (to remedy any measured nutrient deficiencies or toxicities)
Application schedules (to minimise wastage)
Explanations on how excess of a particular nutrient can dilute other elements that are vital for the plant’s functions leading to a nutrient imbalance in the crop.

“Sap Testing allowed me to fine tune my nutritional program which decreased my fertiliser usage and increased my yield”
NSW Farmer
“Through sap testing I was able to supply the nutrients the plant needed at the time. I have not seen any pests or diseases”
SA Farmer
“With targeted nutrition advised through sap testing, I stopped applying fertiliser I didn’t need leading to an increase in profitability”
