tissue testing

Tissue testing takes the whole lifespan of the plant into account since germination, providing a snapshot of the nutritional profile of the plant. A tissue test will detect any mineral deficiencies and also outline any toxicities in the plant.

*5 - 7 day around time.

why tissue test?

Tissue testing towards the end of the season is crucial for farmers as it provides a comprehensive assessment of nutrient levels in crops, acting as an invaluable diagnostic tool to identify deficiencies or excesses (toxicities); allowing the grower to benchmark their nutritional profile for the season.

our process

We perform a farm visit to collect tissue samples before processing them at Eurofins APAL in Adelaide.

Our holistic approach focuses on the full nutrient profile of the plant, instead of the traditional focus on Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium (NPK).

Similar to with our short-term focused sap tests, We then work with you to make any required adjustments to optimise the health and yield of the plant such as the application of organically chelated nutrients with added bio-stimulants through foliar application.
